  • 1 Teaspoon Oolong Tea
  • 1 Cup 8oz Water

Instructions
 

  • Measure out your tea: For a single cup, use 1 teaspoon of loose-leaf Oolong tea or one tea bag. Adjust the amount according to your preference and taste.
  • Add the tea leaves: Place the tea leaves or tea bag in your warmed teapot or cup.
  • Slowly pour the water over the leaves, covering them completely.
  • Steep for 3-5 minutes: Oolong tea is delicate, so it’s essential to keep an eye on your steeping time. The recommended time for steeping Oolong tea is 3-5 minutes, depending on the desired strength of your tea.
  • Strain and serve: Once the steeping time is up, strain the tea leaves or remove the tea bag from your teapot/cup. Pour into your favorite teacup and enjoy!

Notes

  • Generally, a light-bodied Oolong requires shorter steeping (around 3 minutes),
  • A dark or roasted variety needs longer (around  5 minutes). 
  • Use fresh water every time.
