Having a chocolate attack? Try this satisfying and easy-to-make homemade chocolate milk tea! It is easily customizable for any dietary restrictions. You can adjust the sweetness levels, make it hot or iced, and I’ve included optional boba for a fun addition and texture!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Cup Milk
  • 1 Teaspoon Cocoa Powder
  • 2 Tablespoons Sugar
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla
  • 1 Heaping Teaspoon Black Tea
  • 1/4 Cup Boba

Instructions
 

  • Cook boba according to package instructions.
  • Add milk to saucepan over low heat. Allow the milk to warm up.
  • Whisk in cocoa powder, vanilla, and sugar.
  • Bring to a low boil.
  • Turn off the heat, add in tea, and cover.
  • Steep for 5 minutes.
  • Strain out tea.
  • Scoop boba in the bottom of the cup. Top with 1 Tablespoon of simple syrup if desired.
  • Add a handful of ice.
  • Pour tea over the top of the boba.
  • Top with whipped cream and sprinkle with cocoa powder. (optional)
  • Enjoy!
