Equipment

Ingredients

  • 4 Cups Filtered Water
  • 4 Teaspoons Loose Leaf Rooibos Tea

Instructions

  • Add loose rooibos tea to your mason jar or pitcher.
  • Pour in 4 cups of cold, filtered water. Pro Tip: Use filtered water!
  • Give it a quick stir to get those leaves moving. Cover and refrigerate for at least 8 hours (overnight is best).
  • Strain the tea into a new pitcher using a fine mesh strainer.

Notes

  • Try it as is, or add a few slices of lemon, a sprig of mint, or a drizzle of honey for a little extra flavor.
  • Pour cold brew rooibos over ice and sip away. It’s refreshing, a gentle pick-me-up, and pretty much perfection in a glass.
  • You can double or triple this recipe for parties.
  • Rooibos pairs well with berries, ginger, and even vanilla.
  • Leftover tea can be stored in the fridge for up to 4 days.
