Notes

  • Start with Fresh Ingredients: Always use fresh dill leaves that are not wilted. Make sure to check that your dill is rinsed clean and free of any dirt.
  • Use Filtered Water: Using fresh filtered water will help bring out more flavor in your tea.
  • Sweeten it Up: If you’d like to add a bit of sweetness to your dill tea, try adding a teaspoon of honey or sugar.
  • Allow it to Steep: For optimal flavor, allow your dill tea to steep for at least 5 – 10 minutes, but add more time for deeper flavor. If you find the flavor too strong, reduce the amount of dill used in your tea.
  • How to Reduce the Taste of Dill: Adding a sweetener such as honey, or coconut sugar can help to balance out the flavor of the tea. Lastly, spicing up your dill tea with some fresh lemon or ginger can help add more depth and complexity to its flavor.
