Ingredients
  

  • 1 Earl Grey Tea Bag or 1.5 Teaspoons Loose Leaf
  • 1/4 Cup Oatmilk
  • 2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Vanilla
  • 1 Cup Filtered Water

Instructions
 

  • Bring water to a boil in a kettle.
  • Add tea to the teapot.
  • Pour hot water over the tea.
  • Cover and allow to steep for 5 full minutes.
  • While tea is steeping, warm and foam milk. (optional)
  • Strain out tea if using loose leaves.
  • Stir in vanilla and sugar to tea and stir.
  • Pour the tea into a cup.
  • Pour over milk.
  • Enjoy!

  • Earl Grey is a black tea. If using an electric kettle be sure to heat your water to 212°F as that is the optimal water temperature for black tea.
  • Steep tea covered and for a full 5 minutes for the best taste. Less time will result in a weaker tea, and steeping too much longer will risk a bitter tea.
