- 8 Apple Peels Peels from approx 8 apples
- 2 Cups Water
- 2 Tablespoons Honey optional
- 1/2 Teaspoon Cinnamon optional
After washing and peeling about four apples add the apple peels to a small pot and put the pot on the stovetop.
Pour water over the apple peels. The apple peels should be covered completely with water or almost completely covered.
Simmer the apple peels on the stovetop on low for about 5-10 minutes.
Strain out apple peels though a fine mesh strainer. Serve immediately.Stir in optional additions such as honey or cinnamon.
