Glass Teapot (40 OZ) with Removable Loose Tea Glass Infuser
Ingredients
3Earl Grey Tea bags or 3 teaspoons of loose leaf tea
1/2CupMilk
1CupWater
2TeaspoonsVanilla
1TablespoonSugar
Instructions
Prepare your tea by adding hot water to your teapot. Swirl around and discard. This heats up your pot and prepares it for steeping tea. Add tea to your warmed-up teapot and pour over the water. Cover and steep for 5 minutes.
While the tea is steeping, steam and foam milk.
Once your tea has finished steeping and while it is still very warm, add in sugar and vanilla and stir until the sugar has dissolved.
Pour the tea into your serving cup, top it with milk, and enjoy!
Notes
Make this recipe with any type of milk you like best from vegan plant-based or even a combination of half and half with dairy milk.
For a classic flavor, use regular granulated sugar or simple syrup. However, you can customize this recipe by using your favorite sweeteners such as honey, maple syrup, coconut sugar, or stevia.
If you prefer an iced tea, allow the tea to cool completely after steeping. To finish and serve, pour tea over ice and top with cold milk.
Looking for that lavender flavor? Add hints of floral by adding a few edible lavender buds while your tea is steeping. Be cautious not to add too much lavender as it can overpower your drink.
