How to Make Chamomile Tea

How to make a warm soothing cup of chamomile tea using loose dried flowers. This tea has been a favorite herbal tea around the world for centuries. It is also caffeine-free and can be enjoyed any time of day!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Heaping Teaspoon Dried Chamomile Flowers
  • 1 Cup Water
  • Honey to taste, optional

Instructions
 

  • Bring water to a boil, (if you are using an electric kettle, set it to 212°)
  • You can prepare your teapot first by adding a bit of warm water and swirling it around and then pouring out the water. This warms the teapot up before making the tea.
  • Add tea to your teapot or infuser.
  • Pour water over tea and cover.
  • Steep for 5 minutes.
  • Strain out tea.
  • Enjoy!

Notes

  • Lightly sweeten with honey or sugar.
  • Make it iced.
  • Make a latte by adding sweetener and steamed foam milk.
  • Add a dash of cinnamon.
  • Mix with other herbs such as mint.
  • Add a lemon slice.
