  • Syrup Bottles

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Sugar
  • 1 Cup Water
  • 2 Tablespoons Lavender Petals

Instructions

  • Measure ingredients into a pot over low heat.

  • Turn off heat and cover.
  • Steep for 5-10 minutes.

Notes

  • Watch syrup while it is on the stove. It only takes a few minutes for the sugar to fully dissolve. Sugar can also burn if left unattended.
  • Feel free to experiment using more lavender petals.
  • Leave lavender in syrup longer to create a stronger flavor. Up to 10 minutes.
  • This syrup won't naturally be a purple color. If you are wanting a beautiful purple color, try adding a drop of food coloring.
