How to Make Raspberry Iced Tea at Home From Scratch

With only 4 ingredients, you can make this raspberry iced tea at home with ingredients you most likely already have on hand. This fruity and brightly colored tea is perfect for a single-serve or makes an entire pitcher that will last for several days. It is also the perfect iced tea for entertaining!

- 1 Recipe of Raspberry Syrup about 2 cups
- 8 Black Tea bags I use Lipton
- 8 Cups Water
- Lemon Slices optional
In a pot pour 8 cups of water and bring to a boil.
Turn off heat and place tea bags in boiling water. (remove any paper labels from the ends)
Steep tea for 6 minutes.
Remove tea bags squeezing out any liquid.
When cool enough to handle, pour into a jar with fitted lid.
Stir in the recipe of raspberry syrup.
Stir until combined.
Refrigerate Raspberry Tea until completely cooled.
Serve over ice with lemon slices.
MAKE RASPBERRY SYRUP
INGREDIENTS:
- 6 oz Raspberries
- 2/3 Cup Sugar
- 2 Cups Water
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Pour 2 cups of water into a pot.
- Stir in sugar
- Add raspberries
- Bring to a boil stirring occasionally
- After the mixture comes to a boil, gently mash down raspberries and allow to simmer for 6-10 minutes on low.
- Strain out raspberry solids.
- When cool enough, pour into 1 quart Mason Jar
