Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Chai Concentrate
  • 1 Cup Milk
  • 2 Teaspoons Syrup

Instructions

  • Full glass halfway with ice. (About a handful)
  • Shake (or stir) chai concentrate and pour the chai concentrate over ice.
  • Stir in simple syrup if you like a sweeter drink.
  • Top with milk!
  • Enjoy with or without a straw

Notes

  • Tazo Chai Latte Concentrate is minimally sweetened. If you like a sweeter tea try adding a bit of simple syrup. Use brown sugar simple syrup. I suggest starting with just a teaspoon and adding more if desired. Tea can become too sweet quickly.
  • If you are using a non-sweetened chai concentrate, you can enjoy your tea unsweetened or add your own. Start with adding 1-2 tablespoons of brown sugar simple syrup. Since this recipe is not heated, a simple syrup with mix perfectly with your cold tea. An undissolved sugar with not mix as early and might result in sugar granules at the bottom of your glass.
  • If possible, pour a tea latte over large ice cubes. Smaller cubes and crushed ice will melt quickly resulting in watered-down tea.
  • Make this recipe vegan by using plant-based milk. My favorite is full-fat oat milk, but almond milk, cashew milk, or soy milk are also good options.
