Iced London Fog Drink

Cool off with this fresh and flavorful Iced London Fog drink. Made with a few staple ingredients you can whip up this delicious tea in no time! This Iced London Fog Tea latte is simple, refreshing, and so economical to make in your own kitchen!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Tea bags or 2 1/2 Teaspoons Earl Grey Tea
  • 2 Tablespoons Sugar
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla
  • 1/2 Cup Milk
  • 1 Cup Water
  • Handful of Ice

Instructions
 

  • Add water, sugar, and vanilla to a saucepan and bring to a boil stirring occasionally to make sure the sugar fully dissolves.
  • Turn off the heat and add tea.
  • Steep for 5 minutes.
  • Remove tea bags or strain out tea.
  • Allow the tea mixture to cool completely.
  • Foam Milk if desired.
  • Pour over ice and top with foamy milk.
  • Enjoy!

Notes

  • I love a good tea with bold flavors. In this recipe, I use double the amount of tea to ensure strong flavors. If you are unsure or new to a London fog, feel free to use half the amount of tea. 
  • Make it sugar-free by substituting it with honey, stevia, maple syrup, or coconut sugar. (Note that whatever sugar you chose will alter the end flavor.
  • Make it dairy-free by using plant-based milk. My favorite is unsweetened almond milk.
  • Want to avoid the extra heat of the stovetop? Try cold-brewing your tea first! Add water, tea, sweetener, and vanilla to a refrigerated safe jar with a lid and refrigerate for 12-24 hours.
