Ingredients
  

  • 1 Cup Honey
  • 1 Cup Water
  • 2 Tablespoons Lavender

Instructions
 

  • In a small saucepan over low heat, pour in water, honey, and lavender.
  • Stir gently until all the ingredients are incorporated.
  • Turn off heat and cover.
  • Allow syrup to steep for 10 minutes.
  • Strain out lavender buds.
  • Once the mixture is cool, pour the syrup into prepared storage containers.
  • Enjoy!

Notes

  • Heating Honey - In this recipe, the honey will be lightly heated. If your honey has crystallized, not to worry as heating it will bring it back to its liquid form. If you are using raw honey, be aware that heating can result in some loss of nutrients and health benefits.
  • Lavender is a lovely light flavor if used correctly. Don’t use too much lavender or it will become bitter. A small amount goes a long way!
  • You can substitute by replacing half the amount of honey with sugar if desired.
