OXO Brew Tea Infuser Basket
Anthony's Organic French Lavender Petals, 5 oz, Extra Grade, Dried, Gluten Free & Non GMO
- 1 Teaspoon Lavender Petals
- 2 Tablespoons Sugar
- 1 Cup Water
- 1/2 Cup Milk
- 1/4 Teaspoon Vanilla
Heat Water in Kettle to 212°. (If using a saucepan or stovetop kettle, heat to boiling)
Prepare your tea cup: Add sugar or desired sweetener to the bottom of your cup.
Fill infuser with tea and put into the cup.
Pour hot water over the tea.
Cover and steep for 5 minutes.
Meanwhile warm and foam milk. (Warming the milk also keeps your tea hot longer)
Remove infuser.
Add vanilla.
Pour milk over prepared tea and give a little stir.
Enjoy!
Lavender tea is very forgiving. I have overstepped the tea and the results were perfect. No bitter aftertaste.
For the stovetop method, heat the water until it is boiling.
