1/4 Cup Fresh Strawberries sliced 1 Cup Sugar 1 Cup Water
Rise strawberries and cut into small cubes or thin slices.
Add strawberries, sugar, and water to a small pot over medium heat.
Stir occasionally until sugar fully dissolves.
Turn off heat and cover.
Steep for about 5 minutes.
Strain out strawberry solids.
Use immediately or store in airtight container.
Cooking: Watch syrup while it is on the stove. It only takes a few minutes for the sugar to fully dissolve. Sugar can also burn if left unattended.
