Equipment

  • Glass Teapot (40 OZ) with Removable Loose Tea Glass Infuser

Ingredients

  • 1 Tablespoon Fresh Tarragon chopped
  • 2 Cups Water

Instructions

  • Bring water to a boil and pour a bit into your teapot to warm it up. Swirl the water around and discard. (This small step helps to maintain the temperature of the water throughout the steeping process.)
  • Prepare your tea leaves by rinsing and patting them dry.
  • Give the tarragon a small chop to help release the flavors.
  • Add herb to the teapot and pour hot water over the tea.
  • Steep for 5-10 minutes
  • Strain out herb and sweeten if desired.
  • Enjoy!

Notes

  • Quality of Leaves: Always opt for high-quality, organic tarragon leaves, if available. The quality of leaves directly influences the flavor of your tea. Fresh leaves tend to have a more vibrant flavor, but if they are not available, dried leaves are a good substitute.
  • Steeping Time: Be mindful of the steeping time. Over-steeping may lead to a bitter taste, while under-steeping may result in a weak flavor. Generally, a steeping time of 5-10 minutes is recommended, but you can adjust it to your preference.
  • Adding Sweetener: Add sweetener such as honey to taste.
