STEEP TEA: Turn off the heat and add in tea. Cover the pot with a lid and allow the tea to steep for 5 minutes.
STRAIN: Strain out tea and ginger and return the liquid mixture to the pot.
ADD SUGAR AND MILK: Turn the heat back on low and stir in sugar and milk. Stir to dissolve the sugar completely and warm up the tea.
SERVE: Once the tea is warm to your liking it is ready to serve. Pour straight into your favorite heat-safe cup or serve from a teapot. (optional- use a handheld frother to froth tea and create an extra cozy drink)
