Did you know you can make your own liquid sweetener? I don’t regularly have liquid cane sugar on my shopping list, and by default, I always run out when I need it the most. The amazing thing is, it’s almost too easy to make my own. This easy 2 ingredient recipe can take less than 5 minutes to make and it can be a game-changer for making your own teas, lattes, or even cocktails. Today, I’m showing you how to make a big batch that can last for several recipes, but to be honest, I usually just make enough for my single cup. It’s just that easy.

Why Do you Need Liquid Cane Sugar? The Benefits of Liquid Sugar

The main reason for making simple syrup or liquid sugar is to prevent gritty undissolved sugar in your glass. Liquid cane sugar mixes perfectly in cold and hot drinks.  In tea recipes, especially cold-brew teas, iced teas, and lattes, using a liquid sweetener ensures that you aren’t left with any undissolved sugar at the bottom of your glass. Liquid cane sugar mixes into any drink perfectly and evenly distribute throughout your cup or pitcher.

How to use liquid sugar? This can be used in pretty much any recipe.

This simple syrup is unflavored and can be used in pretty much any drink recipe. I use it mainly for teas, but it is perfect for coffees, cocktails, and more!
